SVG is pronounced “SeeVeeG", which is a common nickname in South Africa among the ethnic group of Xhosa people, for those whose names start with the letters “S.I.V” e.g. Sive, Sivene or Sivuyile. Our company was named after the founder's nickname, whose birth name is Sivuyile. Xhosa is the ethnic group of the late Nelson Mandela who added to the extraordinary pride we have in our roots, especially with the legacy of "Ubuntu" which our people are renowned for.

SVG is the abbreviation of Sheer Versatility Group which is the trading name of this holdings company founded in 2014. We originate from the second biggest township(ghetto) in South Africa called Mdantsane, a suburb of East London, located in the Eastern Cape. We took the initiative and opportunities at our disposal as the youth of a post apartheid era. Ambition fuelled by a notion of a higher calling had us pursuing our entrepreneurial endeavours. The company’s core line of business is in providing business solutions for varies business sectors. Our company has evolved to be a holdings company with several subsidiaries & products due to our versatile and diverse approach to challenges.
